WorkSafe Victoria announces Quintessential Equity will develop their new $120 million headquarters in Geelong.

Designed by peckvonhartel, the project celebrates the heritage of the site by incorporating the historic Dalgety & Co building into the new development at 1 Malop Street. The new 14 storey head office will accommodate more than 700 WorkSafe workers and contractors. With 15,000 square metres of A-grade office space, targeting a 6-star green star rating and 5 star NABERS rating, the tower will be the tallest in the Geelong CBD.

Leading the way in providing work-life balance the building will feature a concierge, café, gym and club style end-of-trip facilities with showers, lockers and bike racks. Celebrating the heritage of the Dalgety & Co building the striking external façade enhances the natural light throughout and ocean views.
Quintessential Equity Director, Shane Quinn, said the development would be an “office building of the future” that met all WorkSafe’s core business needs. “The 1 Malop Street development will set a new gold standard for regional office accommodation, providing a high quality, bespoke workspace.”

Construction of the new 14 storey commercial office tower by construction firm Built will get underway within months.
