The existing 230-232 Sussex Street site comprises the Former Foley Bros Warehouses that date from 1886 and are listed on the City of Sydney Heritage Local Environmental Plan.
The preparation of the Development Application involved a detailed historical analysis of the building's significance to the Heritage of the surrounding areas, being one of few remnants of the 19th Century fabric of Darling Harbour.
The proposed development includes the refurbishment and conversion of the existing warehouse buildings to provide office accommodation on the upper two levels with a restaurant utilising the existing courtyard at ground level.
A 23-storey apartment tower is proposed above the existing building, totalling 44 Apartments that range from one bedroom units to four bedroom penthouses.
