peckvonhartel to design jamie oliver's new restaurant

peckvonhartel has been selected as the designer for the new Jamie's Italian restaurant at 107 Pitt Street in Sydney CBD. The restaurant is the first venture of the Jamie's Italian brand in Australasia and will provide space for over 200 guests over two floors. celebrating 30 years of national practice

peckvonhartel hosted a cocktail party at the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra on March 23. The 30th Anniversary celebration followed on from events previously held in Melbourne and Sydney. Guest speaker for the evening was close friend and colleague Dr Allan Hawke AC who spoke highly of Robert and Yvonne's efforts over the past three decades and praised the ongoing work that is produced by the practice. more...

Senior Interior Designer Karen Clutson was invited by the Department of Finance and Deregulation to be a guest speaker at the Senior Property Officers Forum (SPOF). Karen's topic was Putting your Property Management Plan into Action. Drawing on extensive experience in Europe and recent Australian work, Karen presented solutions for greater density in a workspace environment. Karen is a specialist consultant in workplace strategy and design.

The refurbishment of the ANU College Fulton Muir Building is now complete. peckvonhartel is developing an interior design concept for Attorney-General's Department at 4 National Circuit Canberra. The 8,000m² interior fitout provides reconfigurable offices, user-specific workspaces and "apartment styled" shared spaces and facilities. The design integrates best practice workspace strategies by considering the range of current and projected staff requirements to ensure flexibility and office diversity.
