peckvonhartel was selected by the Russian Federation Project Manager to facilitate the delivery of the new Russian Embassy building and the new Consular building located in Yarralumla ACT.  The main building design was carried out in Russia with the material selection and final external design led locally by peckvonhartel.  This new embassy complex will allow the Russian Federation to represent the country on a much grander scale

desalination plant now 70% complete

Construction of the Victorian Desalination Plant near Wonthaggi is now over 70 per cent complete.  About 11.9 million man hours have been worked to date, with  29 buildings on the desalination plant being simultaneously constructed.  Nearly 86 per cent of the concrete required across the site has been poured while nearly 85 per cent of the precast panels have been installed.  The plant is scheduled for completion of commissioning by the end of June 2012. more...

The University of Canberra selected peckvonhartel to undertake an internal refurbishment of the Scrivener Building in Canberra; construction is now complete.  The project involved the relocation of various administrative departments from the University, who were previously spread across the entire campus, into the one building.  The new open plan office promotes the sharing of communal areas, including breakout spaces and utility areas. more...

peckvonhartel was approached to complete the Master Plan for Holmesglen TAFE in Moorabbin VIC.  The vision for the campus included development of a central “heart” or student hub and a focus on the enhancement of landscape, courtyards, and transitional spaces through physical and visual connections.  peckvonhartel investigated multiple options to provide the best outcome for the TAFE. more...
