peckvonhartel has been engaged by Airservices to deliver design consultancy services for the transformation of the Airservices national head office. The transformation is designed to support Airservices new corporate brand, vision and values.

The transformation will deliver a new workplace designed to improve the flexibility of workspaces and encourage greater communication between internal business groups. It also aims to raise Airservices profile externally as an employer of choice that uses best practice design principles to benefit its employees.

The primary element of the project is to improve the operational areas of the building. The design strategy to achieve this is to provide flexible workspaces with integrated support zones to facilitate a collaborative working environment. The remainder of the building will move to more open plan offices with less built form to maximise efficiency and achieve the needs of the employees occupying the space.
