Airservices Australia Accommodation Guidelines

role Design Advisory, Interior Design completion date November 2009 client Airservices Australia

Following peckvonhartel’s completion of architectural and interior design services for Airservices Australia (AsA), peckvonhartel was appointed to produce Accommodation Guidelines for the organisation.

Airservices Australia is a government-owned corporation providing air navigation and aviation services that focus on safety and the application of new technology. Airservices Australia employs over 3,000 permanent staff across Australia.

The Accommodation Guidelines were developed to facilitate consistent outcomes across the Airservices Australia property portfolio.

The objective in developing the guidelines was to establish a workplace strategy that would best support the current and future work styles of Airservices Australia. The guidelines will enable the development of workplace environments based on a common and consistent suite of workspace elements, and deliver a functional, flexible, efficient and productive workplace.

peckvonhartel coordinated a series of client briefing meetings to ensure the requirements of all user groups were considered for inclusion in the document.  The document provides guidance to the Airservices Australia Property team and also fitout consultants including designers, architects and engineers to ensure a consistent approach through universal space planning standards across national Airservices Australia office fitouts.
