BIM Manager – Melbourne, Sydney or Canberra

peckvonhartel is currently seeking a highly motivated BIM Manager to join our national team. We are looking for a vibrant, experienced individual to manage BIM processes, policies, technology and delivery of a wide range of exciting projects. This is a full time leadership role, with responsibility for project delivery (from initial briefing through to completion), client management, consultant co-ordination, business development, assisting in the preparation of proposals and marketing material, as a key part of our Management team.

With offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Hobart and Brisbane, you will work as part of an award winning, national team on a variety of projects within the public and private sectors.

The BIM Manager is responsible for the:

  • Management of the Revit system across peckvonhartel including implementation, licensing, hardware and connectivity.

  • Design, develop, create and maintain the Revit system in an efficient manner to gain the most productivity advantages from the software.

  • Collaboratively determine, develop and enforce office drafting, modelling, presentation, and maintenance and administration standards to ensure consistent documentation appearance.

  • Support and mentor users at all levels in utilizing the software to manage and deliver their project deliverables.

  • Provide users with training options so they can continuously improve their software skills. Test the skill level of potential new hires and conduct training sessions for all user levels within the organisation.

  • Liaise with and assist users with project setup, coordination, collaboration, modelling, presentation, documentation and distribution;

  • Keep up to date with Revit software developments, research and plan for new BIM methods and uses, investigate new revenue stream opportunities and explore ways of increasing efficiencies in-house;

  • Increase peckvonhartel profile by attending and participating in industry seminars, user groups, newsgroups, social media and conferences.

  • Work with principals and design leaders to develop marketing opportunities by identifying trends and business opportunities relating to BIM and uses of it.
