peckvonhartel are engaged by Stockland to revitalise the building at 40 Cameron Avenue Belconnen to attract new tenants. The in-house design team at Stockland undertook the preliminary concept design and peckvonhartel have been appointed to develop the preliminary concept through to construction.
The building refurbishment is being designed to achieve a minimum 4.5 Star NABERS rating and A-grade standard as defined by the Property Council of Australia. The scope of works also includes the ground floor entry, lobby, cafe, building amenities, lift lobbies and sunshades to the facade.
Through the incorporation of a café at the street corner, the upgrade of the ground floor facilities and providing enhanced pedestrian access and connectivity to the surrounds, the building will be refreshed by an inviting street frontage.
Upon entry to the building by either the café or the main ground floor entrance, the design promises occupants a comfortable atmosphere, with a rich dark finishes palette and a mixture of communal and semi-private meeting spaces.
