peckvonhartel have experience in Tourism and Hospitality projects extending from restaurants and bars, to the refurbishment of existing regional hotels and the design and construction of 5 star international hotels in prominent central city locations.

The Westin Hotel on the City Square in Melbourne embodies the tourism and hospitality experience of the practice. The development is a combination of urban design, hotel design, and residential design in a most significant location and compliments the neighbouring Regent Theatre Plaza Ballroom; restored by the practice some years earlier.

As architects to the international Host Marriot Group, peckvonhartel have created themed food concessions at international airports in Melbourne and Cairns. For Marriott Hotels, peckvonhartel refurbished the Marriott Hotel at Surfers Paradise, a 400 room 5 star hotel.
