Design Director Tim Giles reflects on how we have continued to use design to support our clients business strategy.

It takes a team of passionate, intelligent and motivated individuals to deliver each of our projects. Whilst our current global climate has put stress on our industry and cities, for us the constant has been continuing to deliver exceptional design outcomes for our clients.

“In the last 12 months our team’s creative output has continued to demonstrate how design can improve the overall experience of the places we engage. It’s been exciting to see our clients’  visions translate to commercially viable design solutions that ultimately supports their business strategy”

Tim Giles
National Design Director

The end of financial year is a time for us to reflect on our achievements and plan for the year to come – and for us it is also about celebrating the incredible work we have achieved over the last 12 months.  Our workplace and retail designers have worked with three major Australian brands to deliver new design standards across their national property portfolio.

We have continued our strong history delivering for State and Territory Governments and Commonwealth Departments, with eight new projects currently underway.  Assisting developers and asset managers with their predevelopment strategy, feasibility and precinct master planning has seen our team interact with some exciting future projects.

Sustainability and adaptive re-use has been a core focus of our designs, and is exemplified through our work with Australian National University. Our concept for their new transportation hubs explores a series of future proofed building typologies, enabling each new structure to adapt to new uses including faculty buildings, student housing, and teaching spaces.

True to our values to use design to enhance the spaces we inhabit, our firm continues to offer insight and leadership to the industry through advisory positions across the Victorian Building Commission and the Business Council of Australia.
