Canberra’s tallest residential building and Gungahlin’s first high-rise residential development ‘Infinity Towers’ is set to change the face of the Gungahlin town centre. The two towers will hold 426 apartments with a mix of one, two and three-bedroom units, over 50 of which have already sold since launching to the market.
peckvonhartel responded to the challenge set by the developers GEOCON, for their largest development to date in the heart of the Gungahlin town centre. The towers are unlike anything else on the Canberra skyline, inspiring future development in the region and in Canberra as a whole. The 5-star mixed-use development boasts resort-like facilities, including a 4,000m2 Sky Park on Level 6 and a 25 metre infinity pool hovering 20m above the ground.
At 20 and 22 storeys and a height of 70 metres, Infinity Towers will be one of the highest structures in Canberra. Infinity Towers offers uninterrupted views overlooking Yerrabi Pond and across the Canberra landscape with a striking façade design that maximises access to the stunning views.
Construction of the first two towers is due to start in October and will take 18 months to complete. The second tower is due to begin construction in April 2017 with the estimated completion date for both towers being October 2018.
