Engaged by Hill Wardlaw Developments Australia (HWD), peckvonhartel has developed an interior scheme for a new boutique residential development located within the Carlisle Street precinct of St Kilda.

Situated near a mix of light commercial buildings, retail shops and an array of restaurants and cafes, the development is the first to take advantage of this popular area. The development aims to attract young buyers who would appreciate living in a vibrant and dynamic part of the city.

peckvonhartel designed the interiors to make efficient use of the base building layout that was provided. The development comprises six floors that contain underground car parking, 16 apartments all with balconies, two of which are sizeable three bedroom penthouse residences with swimming pools and a communal terrace.

With a clear understanding of the market HWD was looking to attract, peckvonhartel drew inspiration from a range of trends that evoke the character of the area, coupled with the recreational reputation for which the St Kilda location is renown.
